This term we have been beavering away on our art GCSE.We have been to Cardiff Bay to look at sculptures. We have designed our own with shapes. We then moved on to clay work in Llanover Hall.
We all attended sports day at Leckwith Stadium. Denis, David, Ryan and Kaye all ran the 100 metres. Sam, Denis, David and Ryan were excellent in the long jump. Kaye managed an epic throw with the soft ball.
Ashgrove came away with a clutch of medals at the swimming gala at Cardiff Bay. Ryan and Sam were weighed down with gold!
Parents will be pleased to know that we have done a lot of cleaning this term as part of our N.P.T.C course. We have swept floors, mopped, hoovered and cleaned out microwave ovens. We also learned how to polish our boots! We wore our shiny boots to Barry College where we made and painted shelves and learned how to bricklay and lay patio slabs.
We are now ready for all the cleaning jobs you can throw at us this coming holiday!
