We are thrilled to have three new class members this year and have an exciting term ahead for our class of seven. As well as continuing with our BTEC in WorkSkills, Home Cooking Skills we are starting three new courses this year:
· Welsh Baccalaureate Foundation Diploma
· BTEC Award in Money and Finance Skills
· BTEC Certificate in Sustainability Skills and Vocational Studies
As part of our studies we will be enjoying a three day trip to London to attend a World Skills event, visit the Houses of Parliament and the Palace of Westminster, as well as taking in a show and hopefully a trip on the eye and the Thames River. We will also be visiting Siambr Hywel and the Sennedd in Cardiff to compare what an AM and a MP does.
We will continue with our courses at Cardiff and Vale College - Cardiff on a Monday completing our IT qualification and Barry on a Friday to continue with our City and Guilds Retail qualification and NVQ in Customer Services.
We also have to fit in running The Ash Cafe and planning an Enterprise project for the Autumn term. Keep posted for photographs of all our activities!!
