Class KD

Class KD

We are a friendly KS3/4 class of 8 pupils, 7 boys and 1 girl.

We follow the Secondary Foundation Phase Curriculum and our Maths comes from the Abacus Evolve Curriculum Year one.

Our class teacher is called Mrs Doorbar and we are supported by Emma, Naomi, Abbie and Debbie to complete our lessons and play together.

We all have different interests and favourite activities. We have some very talented artists in the class and Ruby’s animal art especially, has been very much admired by all. Douglas is a talented musician and plays the Piano and is learning the Trombone, singing beautifully too. Omar likes to dance especially to funky or rock music, he very much enjoys listening to live music. Chris likes creating objects with lego and can build anything if given instructions, he is learning to play the keyboard. Danny is very athletic and loves to bounce on the trampoline, ride the bikes on the playground or climb up everything like a cheeky monkey, he is also learning to play the drums. Robert is very helpful around the classroom and enjoys helping everyone out, he is also learning to play the drums. Daniel is also an excellent dancer and enjoys our lessons with Sophie, our dance teacher, and he loves to go to the Gym with Steve. Zak is also learning to play the drums and is the class clown he likes to keep everyone happy and likes to see people laughing.

Each week we complete a lot of work including cookery, maths, music, ICT, PE, Dance, Diary, Literacy and Topic work. See some of our work in the gallery.

In January we start to work towards our Entry 1 Qualification in Personal Progress.
